MODA Miami 2025

It's difficult to exaggerate how impressive an event MODA Miami already is. So many corners of car enthusiasm were beautifully represented, and MODA's greatest strength is how they've built a bridge between the history and reverence of traditional judged Concours style shows, and the lifestyle surrounding the joy of sharing these works of art. In only its second year, MODA Miami is on par with long-standing festivals like The Amelia, which was yet another destination on the itinerary for this rally through Florida. Last year saw both events take place on the same weekend, while this year had them placed a week apart. It only felt right to attend both.
I planned this trip nearly a year in advance, but the decision to do it in my 1994 Porsche 968 only came to be within a month before my departure. A multi-day road trip in a cool car has been on my bucket list for a while, and with nothing but time on my hands, plus some persistent persuasion from my best friends, there couldn't have been a better opportunity than this one. Attending two different automotive festivals across the state of Florida is an incredibly indulgent occasion, so it's only right that we go all out.
A venue like Miami brings with it a new kind of attitude and atmosphere, one that's familiar to regular attendees of these types of festivals, but still laid back and approachable enough for newcomers. I had so much fun conversing with the owners of these cars and collections on display, and I can't wait to share more stories as I make my way through the hundreds of moments I captured during this unforgettable weekend.
Next year's show is already on the books, and I have a feeling that it's only getting better.
